Job Specifications: Everyday you clean out the feed
the horses, rub them down, check on their eyes and ears for any nasty bugs
and then—grab a big shovel. This is your pooper scooper. And if it’s bigger
than the usual, it’s because you aren’t looking at the average pile of crap.
Drawbacks: Horses are capable of producing the worst, biggest, and vilest
mountains of turd. Doesn’t help that all the fibre they’re consuming makes
them veritable poop machines. Or that they’re not the brightest of
creatures, so they’re likely to step on their own faeces and give you the
job of having to wash them off.
Perks: Your boss may treat you like a slave, and your abysmal pay means
you’ll spend the rest of your life in poverty—but hey, you have a pet pony.
