Ideal for: people without asthma or brain
cells
Job Specifications: You work in the middle of the most polluted part of
the city, right smack in the middle of a busy intersection. The work is
relatively easy: , take the money, fill the tank, take the money, fill the
tank Again and again. For ten hours a day, seven days a week.
Drawbacks: You don’t have anyone to talk to, as the motorists aren’t
inclined to stay and chat. You inhale car fumes, which are probably killing
very important brain cells that you may need for the SAT’s. You’re not
allowed that many bathroom breaks, and it’s not like you can take a short
walk around the block to stretch those muscles (unless you want to end up as
road kill).
Perks: You meet hundreds of interesting people a day—for three seconds at
a time, yes, but at least you can say you’re expanding your social circle.
