Ideal for: aspiring doctors (you don’t have a
choice)
Job specifications: As a doctor in training, you’re supposed to immerse
yourself in the medical environment—in other words, you take impossibly long
shifts, take the jobs nobody else wants, and are blamed for everything that
goes wrong.
Drawbacks: The irony of it all is that working in a hospital will send you
to hospital. Long hours, a germ infested environment, the constant
stress—but “doctor’s orders” is that you get back to work, you pathetic
worm, and try not cough on the patients.
Perks: Just a few more years and you’ll be a doctor yelling at another
intern.
